Amy Lawrence & Kasey Tennant - Co-founders & CEO’s
LEE & LOU was founded in 2015 by Australian entrepreneurial sisters, wives & mothers, Kasey & Amy.
Like so many start-up stories, their’s began in the kitchen, of course! The idea to create a home fragrance brand started in 2015 when they were deciding what to make for Amy's wedding favour gifts. Of course learning how to make candles seemed like the perfect no-brainer. So they set about learning how to create their very own soy wax candles and, unsurprisingly, were suddenly making more candles than they could possibly burn themselves! So popular were the handmade creations, that they soon started selling them at local weekend markets, all whilst juggling full-time careers and kids, and the brand Lee & Lou exploded from there.
Quick to notice a gap in the market for high-quality home fragrance products, they were motivated by their own desire to produce beautiful home decor accents that were not only locally hand-crafted, but also ethically made using natural & sustainable ingredient's that would rival the big brand names.
Kasey & Amy set themselves a mission to create a home fragrance collection which they knew consumers were craving.
